Mommy & Me Play Groups

Connecting Dots Speech Therapy and Mosaic Therapy Collective offer community play groups focused on empowering parents to optimize their child’s learning through play. These SLP facilitated groups are designed for toddlers and their parents or guardians and are also opened to siblings! The importance of play in early childhood cannot be stressed enough. That being said, HOW you play with your little ones can have huge impacts on their language, cognitive and social development! Each class we demonstrate one or two communication strategies that can be used in a variety of different play contexts. Then we break off so parents can practice using strategies with their kiddos. At the end of the group we circle up to discuss any challenges, celebrate any victories, and brainstorm ideas for continued use of strategies. These play groups are also a great way for parents and toddlers to connect with others in their community.
