At Connecting Dots Speech Therapy, we believe that connection and engagement are the pillars of successful therapy. Using evidence-based practices and a "fun-first" approach, we harness the science of PLAY to enhance your child's communication skills. Whether supporting children with limited verbal output to better express their needs and ideas or refining unclear speech production, we use relationship-centered therapy approaches to provide comprehensive care for your child on their communication journey. We work collaboratively with families to unlock each child's inherent abilities, support their communication goals, and help them thrive in their own authentic way. Every child has something valuable to say – our role is to help them find their voice and celebrate the journey.

“I believe that pediatric therapy should look MORE LIKE PLAY and less like work”

Offered Services
Speech Sound Therapy
Most speech sound disorders are phonological or articulation based, requiring therapy to target pronunciation of errored sounds or patterns of sounds. For this type ,of therapy we work directly with your child to provide maximum opportunities while keeping them engaged with personalized activities and games. We also provide parents with the tools and strategies to support their child’s speech development for home practice between therapy!
Apraxia Therapy
PROMPT and DTTC are tactile-kinesthetic approaches to speech therapy, used to treat Apraxia of Speech. This involves the speech-language pathologist using touch cues on the client's face (throat, jaw, lips, tongue), in addition to visual cues to support and shape correct movement of these articulators.
Language Therapy
Therapy tailored to your child’s unique language learning style. Whether it be vocabulary & grammar development, listening & reading comprehension or helping your child move beyond echolalia & scripting. Therapy activities are child led for increased engagement and generalization of skills. Parent involvement in sessions is integral!
